Atif Aslam

Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s tunes crossed borders and made it into Bollywood.  The singer who was part of a band Jal with Goher parted ways with him to start a solo career.

His most famous song is Aadat and it’s ownership is still contested by Atif Aslam and Goher.

His songs have mostly featured in Mahesh Bhatt’s productions like Kalyug and Zeher.

Anurag Kashyap’s Gulaal’s music was as explosive as it’s story.

The movie itself was inspired by songs from Pyaasa and Paanch.

Pyaasa’s Yeh Duniya Agar Mil Bhi Jaaye Tho Kya Hai, penned by Sahir Ludhianvi.

The music was composed by Piyush Mishra, who has a role in the movie as well.

Oh Sexy Mama

Everytime the censor board raises a saregama over silly stuff  they just help promote what they are objecting to.

This time they took Sexy Mama from Vikram K Kumar’s 13B quite literally and were eager to maintain the sanctity of all Mamas, snipping sexy for crazy.

You’d think Mamas would prefer to be hot as opposed to lunatics, no?!

Song Facts The music was composed by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, the lyricist is Neelesh Mishra and it is sung by Baba Sehgal and Anushka Manchanda from the all girls band Viva that broke up after an album or two. The movie stars R.Madhavan and Neetu Chandra.

Dunno what the anything but scary song is doing in a horror flick but it’s definitely catchy.
